8. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift from God to empower the believer to develop Christ-like character and to accomplish God’s will for everyday life. (Acts 2:4)

9. God gives all believers spiritual gifts to strengthen and build up the church, the gifts of the spirit are active and relevant today. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10,11)

10. We believe that Jesus heals and is active in the lives of people today through physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration. (Acts 10:38)
